Theme Days and FUN at Palisades Country Day Camp and Palisades Rainbow Camp NJ (dedicated)

Camps  /

For the past quarter century, Palisades Country Day Camp, Closter, and Palisades Rainbow Camp, Fort Lee have provided young campers with Bergen County’s premium summer camp experience.  Led by a creative team of dedicated educators and counselors, campers participate in endless fun activities ranging from swimming and water fun to sports and messy crafts.  Closter campers can choose from a wide variety of specialized electives such as theater, Lego robotics, yoga and many more. As they now celebrate their 25th summer, their mission remains the same: to provide children with a safe, fun and exciting summer camp experience that will nurture each child’s potential and foster his or her social, emotional and physical development.

Organized in small groups with excellent camper to counselor ratios, campers at both the Closter and Fort Lee locations experience age-appropriate programs tailored specifically to each child. Such individual attention ensures that each day is safe, full of magic and fosters campers’ creativity, growth, and self-esteem.

The Closter location enrolls children ages 18 months to 9 years old, while the Fort Lee campus is open to campers ages 22 months to 5 years old. Throughout the summer campers are treated to special theme days:  superhero day, snow day, petting zoo, etc. Fun field trips also allow Closter’s oldest campers to venture beyond the campground! They truly are “All About Fun!”

Take a tour of the Closter facility on Saturday, April 21st, from 11am to 2pm which boasts a nature center, heated pools, two indoor gyms, an art pavilion, a playground and an athletic field.  Daily instructional and free swim, in one of the six heated pools and splash park, allows campers to beat the heat while learning to swim.
