On the hunt for a better burger? Or perhaps a spot to take the kids when you aren't up for cooking, and need a meal option that everyone will want to sink their teeth into. The Lab Burger Co., opening August 3rd in Oradell, is ready to serve you.
While the full menu is still a bit of a mystery, this new resto offer 100 percent grass-fed beef burgers -- both original and with a twist. The Lab Burger is the brainchild of Oradell's CaLABria Pizza Owners (get it?), who were also inspired to name their latest venture after their beloved, late Black Lab, Minx. The Lab Burger is not your average burger and fries joint, however, offering unique creations, such as their Morning After Burger which includes American cheese, hickory smoked bacon, avocado, a sunny side up fried egg and mayo, to set it apart from the typical fast food fare.
In addition to their burger, menu items include classics such as hot dogs -- including their Italian Dog smothered with Italian-style sautéed sweet peppers, potatoes and onions -- chicken sandwiches, and sides such as French fries and hand cut, crispy onion rings. Dessert items will also be available, including homemade cookies, whoopie pies, milkshakes and more.
The Lab Burger will be open for takeout for now, with indoor dining featuring art work to memorialize their pup opening post-pandemic.
