Ridgewood Mom Boss Katie Diamond’s Next Act

Fashion  /

If you’re a boutique-obsessed Bergen Mama like we are, we’ve got some stellar news: A fab new Ho-Ho-Kus spot is about to become a top pick in your local shopping rotation. The clothing store, called Collective, is slated to open in early May and is the next big thing from beloved jewelry designer Katie Diamond, whose Katie Diamond Jewelry has become an indispensable shop for everything from exquisite engagement rings to elegant initial necklaces to beautiful birthstone earrings along with a smattering of home accessories, purses, and high-end beauty lines. After having positive experiences partnering with fellow independent designers at the jewelry store, Diamond decided to expand on that idea at Collective, where she and her team will focus on collaborations and pop-ups with a variety of brands.

Expect both an elevated experience and a bohemian vibe inside the boutique that will offer a selection of special stuff at a range of price points (from sub-$100 items to uber-upscale offerings). The space will have a fresh feel ever few weeks thanks to new lines coming through, including Emerson Fry, Mate the Label, Lilya, Xirena, Ulla Johnson and The Great.

To start, Collective will be stocking its shelves with all your summer staples: some amazing T-shirts and leisurewear, cute tops and rompers, and effortlessly cool dresses just in time for outdoor dining date nights. (Yay!)  Beyond clothes, look for a curated assortment of jewelry and  other accessories including the best-selling Ayurvedic copper water bottles, along with beach blankets and bags. Collective will also be monogramming handbags and pouches on site, making it your go-to gift-grabbing venue. But if you decide to do one up with your own initials, we totally wouldn’t blame you.

Collective, 11 Sheridan Avenue, Ho-Ho-Kus.
