At Thurnauer School of Music, you become a part of a diverse community where the development and growth opportunities have no bounds. All lessons are open to the public, and anyone can enroll starting at age 3 on any instrument and at any skill level, from beginner to conservatory prep. You learn from distinguished faculty and world-renowned musicians in a nurturing environment. In addition to private lessons, there are plenty of opportunities to join group classes, including orchestra, choral, jazz, and chamber ensembles. Thurnauer also presents over 100 recitals and concerts annually at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades and in the community, including student performances, faculty recitals, and guest performances with world-renowned artists. (This past year students had a chance to perform with Joshua Bell!)

Go hands-on and attend their annual Open House and instrumental "petting zoo" this coming Sunday, September 11 and speak with the staff about which private lessons are best for your family, tour facilities and sample classes.
