Oh my gourd, is it almost Halloween already? Feels like we were juuuussst picking apples and now here we are, trying to be patient while our kids change their minds daily about their costumes while we work hard to decipher which of the costumes we should actually buy for them to wear on the big day. So, since you’ve got your hands full with those important logistics, Palisades Center in West Nyack, New York thought they’d make it really easy to figure out your plans for Halloween day and trick or treating. They’ve even pre-loaded an event so that you can kick off the holiday a few days early.
Join Palisades Center and ForTheCulture Foundation on Saturday, October 25 from 4PM – 6PM on Level One, next to H&M for their fifth annual Halloween event! Kids can trick-or-treat from one festively decorated table to the next in their costumes. Then they’ll enjoy meet-and-greets, sweet treats, surprise giveaways, a skeleton drummer, skating characters, a magician, and more spooky-fun entertainment!
Then take a few days to rest up because Palisades Center is the place to be on Friday, October 31st. First up is the Spooky Skate Bash at the Palisades Center Ice Rink. They’re hosting a public skating session and if you show up in costume, you’ll enjoy free skate admission and rentals (while supplies last). Session times are 2:50PM – 4:10PM or 4:25PM – 5:45PM. Ghosts, ghouls, goblins, lions, and tigers, and bears (oh my!) and everything in between are welcome for this chillingly good time!
But what would Halloween be without a little more Trick or Treating? Get ready for a fang-tastic time at Palisades Center’s Mall-Wide Trick-or-Treat on Friday, October 31! Costumed guests can collect candy and treats from participating merchants throughout the mall (while supplies last).
