While the pandemic has certainly put a damper on life as we knew it, including the way we eat out, we’re taking this week’s opening of Cork & Crust, a fabulous new Italian-meets-Mediterranean eatery in Harrington Park, as a welcome reassurance that there’s light at the end of the tunnel.
Family-owned-and-operated, Cork & Crust’s goal is to make their restaurant your home away from home. That starts by offering exceptional service, continues with top-notch ambiance, and continues all the way through to their eclectic menu of lunch, brunch, take-out, and all-day-dinner offerings. Chef Domani—a self-taught-home-cook-turned-culinary-master from the age of 12—has come up with a sensational selection of primarily-Italian-and-Sicilian dishes with a Mediterranean twist.
Get ready to dive into a sea classic and speciality house-made pastas, sumptuous salads, crispy, crunchy brick-oven pizzas with tons of topping options, hot and cold sandwiches, and premium meat and seafood entrees sure to please every palate. (Their kids menu is also something special.) BYOB is the name of the game here, so be sure to bring a favorite bottle or two with you when you visit.
Seating is limited to 30 al fresco seats (for now), but we can’t wait until indoor dining is back on the table, as Cork & Crust has a brand-new, decked-out 70-seat dining room—topped with a gorgeous tin-plated ceiling—just waiting to be enjoyed.
