Jack Is Back: Westwood OG Jack’s Cafe Opens Its New Doors in River Vale

Restaurants  /

When Jack's Cafe closed the doors to its Westwood location, the Bergen County foodies let out a collective sad sigh. Soon enough, the good news was that it would be setting up a new home base in nearby River Vale, and now, the wait is finally over. Jack's Cafe just re-opened to the public, bringing back a modified version of its comforting breakfast and lunch menu items.

If you're looking for a quick and easy yet tasty bite to eat, Jack's Cafe is open daily (except for Tuesdays) from 8 am to 5 pm. The casual restaurant has two-top and four-top tables that fill the clean, modern, and welcoming space that features vibrant artwork, along with a few small bistro tables outside to dine alfresco while you still can. You can order off of its menu, or grab some drinks, snacks, and light meals to go.

Speaking of the menu, if you head there for breakfast, choose from Jack's omelets featuring ingredients like sun dried cranberry, spinach, and brie (in the Mari), or build your own with meat, veggies, cheese, and more. Or, enjoy a more indulgent option like the pancake tacos that are filled with nutella and banana, strawberry and blueberry, or strawberry and cream. For lunch, you can find salads like the dill berry chicken salad, classic comfort food sandwiches such as the reuben kinkade, and a small but mighty kids menu that's a no-brainer to please the littles.

Like what you see (and taste)? If you're hosting an event, order off of Jack's catering menu that can supersize your favorites on a servable platter to accommodate any number of guests. Particularly during the busy holiday season, it's an easy way to entertain while actually enjoying the party and time with family and friends.

Don't wait to check out the re-opening of Jack's Cafe in its new River Vale spot.
