Here's a little coffee talk to help you get your day started: Emma Karach, CEO & Co-Owner of the new Humphrey's Coffee opening in Haworth, knows you need a little boost in the morning and any time of day. Named after her beloved first dog growing up, Humphrey's promises to be more than a specialty coffee shop, but a place that brings community together.
But first, the menu. Humphrey's Coffee is brewing locally roasted coffee from Parlor Coffee out of Brooklyn. Customers will be able to customize their drinks with a wide variety of flavored syrups and milks. Aside from coffee, look for Health-Ade Kombucha on tap, plus matcha drinks and additional tea flavors. Perhaps the best drink being mixed up at Humphrey's are their customizeable milkshakes topped with fresh-baked goods.
Speaking of baked goods, Humphrey's understands that every good cup of coffee pairs even better with a pastry, which is why they're serving select freshly baked items. Warm croissants and cookies such as their chocolate chip and peanut butter flavors are available both for enjoying solo or pairing atop a milkshake. Baked goods will be a combination of Humphrey's originals and brought in from Balthazar Bakery.
Keep an eye out for events happening at Humphrey's in the future, such as open mic nights and pet adoption events -- a cause close to Karach's heart. Humphrey's Coffee opens Saturday October 9th.
