Dwight-Englewood Summer Connections: Engage learners in the joy of discovery through a variety of exciting experiences. Summer Connections offers a rich breadth of courses which can give an introduction, a chance to improve skills, or enjoy a brand new discipline. Youngest campers, ages 3 – 5, weave weekly themes into activities like cooking, water play, Spanish and music. Older campers, ages 6 and up can choose from a jam-packed schedule of offerings like 3D Design and Printing, Photography, Cheftastic, Organic Vegetable Gardening, Robotics, Game Design, Science Medley, Web Design, Stained Glass and so much more. Plus, the new Deep Dive Immersives program provides students the opportunity to build skills and knowledge in the targeted areas while collaborating with master-level faculty. Liberty Science Center Camp: With new and exciting programs added this year, kids ages 5 – 15 will love the hands-on exploration and challenges at the largest science center in the tri-state area. Kids will enjoy programs like robotics, roller coaster science, game design, photography, forensic science, engineering plus 3D printing in the new LSC MakerLab. With access to new cool science and technology tools and exploration of all exhibits, this fun, innovative, and inquiry-based STEM curriculum will satisfy any little scientist. Kaplen JCC on the Palisades Big Idea Hi-Tech Camp: This brand new, innovative tech camp is the perfect mix between hands-on, cutting edge tech workshops such as robotics, coding, 3D modeling, DJ, film production and fashion plus lots of outdoor summer activities. This all-inclusive camp program includes lunch, snacks, daily swim and towel service so parent's don't have to worry about a thing. (411 E. Zoo Camp at the Bergen County Zoo: This “always booked” local program is open to residents and members ages 5 – 15 only for half day, week-long sessions where kids work in and explore the zoo with qualified educators and staff. Older campers will walk in the shoes of actual zookeepers while they prepare animals’ daily diets, learn about collection and clean out their cages. Chef Central Teen Cooking Camp: Campers, ages 11 – 17, will explore exciting themes and regions like Italian Cuisine, Latin Cuisine, and Asian Cuisine plus farm to table cooking, bread baking, and pastries making, by creating dishes with expert chefs while learning cooking techniques. All levels of skill are welcome for the half day sessions.
