What: Grounds for Sculpture
Why: 42 acres featuring over 270 beautiful contemporary sculptures, displayed both in the well-kept park itself and in the museum buildings.  The park also doubles as an arboretum and features offers shopping and dining options, including the high-rated Rat’s Restaurant.
When: June 1st- Labor Day, hours are Tuesdays- Saturday: 10 a.m.- 10 p.m. (park will admit visitors up until 9 p.m.), Sundays: 10 a.m-6 p.m. 10pm, closed Mondays, Adults $12, Children 6-17, $8, 5 and under: FREE!
The park offers free weekend drop-in tours Saturdays and Sundays at 11am and 1pm, and free weekday drop-in tours Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 11am and 1pm

What: Storm King Art Center
Why: 500 acres of scenic field and woodland landscape dotted with over 100 sculptures from some of the most acclaimed artists of our time.
When: Wednesdays through Sundays, 10:00 am-8:00 p.m., closed Mondays and Tuesdays, Adults $12, Students (K-12): $8, 5 and under: FREE!

What: The Land of Make Believe
Why:  A not-so-far, family-friendly amusement park featuring rides for every level of thrill-seeker: from roller coasters to carousels, plus games and a 5-star water park.
When: Memorial Day-June 21st open to public on weekends only, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., open daily from June 22nd through Labor Day
Admission:  Admission includes ALL Rides, Shows, Attractions, Family Picnic Grove, AND Pirate’s Cove WaterPark and Parking, Adults: $24.00,Children (2-18): $26.00
Children under 24 months: FREE!

What: Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture
Why: Budding farmers and those who love getting back to nature will learn how food gets from farm to the table. Pitch in with egg collection, take a farm tour and participate in weekly activities geared to families.  Then dine in the casual (yummy) café or the more upscale farmhouse Blue Hill at Stone Barns.
When: Hours- Wednesdays-Sundays 10 a.m-5 p.m.
Admission: Just a $5/ vehicle parking fee Friday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, cash only

What: Museum Village
Why: Grab young history buffs and travel in time back to the 19th century.  Tour the village and get a feel (and taste) of life in the 1800s. 
When: From June 30-August 30th, open Tuesdays-Sundays 11 a.m.-4 p.m. with tours by a costumed interpreter at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.- tours include a visit to the schoolhouse and log cabin as well as candle making and other buildings.
Admission: $10.00 Admission for Adults; $8.00 for Children 4 - 12. Children under 4 FREE!
