Why: Swashbuckle over the Tappan Zee to this raucously fun festival, featuring blackbeards, musical pirates, gypsy sword dancers, and scallywags of all sorts. Kids can take part in the Pieces of Eight treasure hunt, wiggle their way into a pirate shipwreck, trade barbs with a clever, talkative parrot, and learn to act like a bloody pirate!
