We’re living in pretty delicious times when it comes to getting our culture fix. First there was the melty magic of the Museum of Ice Cream. Next, we received word the gooey goodness of the Museum of Pizza would be coming our way this fall. And now, we present you with Candytopia, a sweet space that organizers are calling a sanctuary of confectionary bliss.
The collaboration between Hollywood “candy queen” Jackie Sorkin, event production guru Zac Hartog, and candy retailer John Goodman will be arriving in New York City (after finishing up its stint in Santa Monica next weekend) in August. Imagine one big interactive art installation celebrating all things candy (and here’s where things get really crazy) across a bunch of different environments including flying unicorn pigs and a marshmallow tsunami.
Of course, the experience will provide visitors with lots of chances for sampling sweets and tasting treats and Candytopia is super family-friendly, too. You can even host a birthday party or event there complete with fresh-spun cotton candy, candy craft activities, and a 15-variety candy station. Our teeth our aching already ... but in a good way.
Candytopia opens August 15th in New York City. Sign up here to get the scoop.
