OK, we know we’re super lucky to live mere miles from some of the country’s most amazing museums and we love a good day of culture as much as the next girl, but know what we’ll always put ahead of strolling the art-lined halls of fabled institutions? Pizza.
The good news is we’re about to get both in one place when the Museum of Pizza arrives in New York City this October. According to creator Nameless Network (also the geniuses behind the Museum of Ice Cream) it will be a place to take amazing photos and absorb every wonder of our larger-than-life, immersive installations. A space to bask in multi-sensory, psychedelic pizza joy. Expect a pizza artists gallery, pizza cave, pizza fun house, pizza beach, an interactive history of pizza, a Pizza Zen sense and sound experience and a MoPi arcade. (#MoPi is going to be the Insta hashtag of the fall, just you watch).
And if you really want to get yourself in the mood, check out the promo video riddled with scantily clad hot models tempting each other with cheesy pieces of pie and then buy your tickets, which are already available for purchase and come with a slice of pizza. You’ll just have to wait five months to eat it ...
