The days are getting shorter and colder so you need to start thinking about how you and the family are going to keep yourselves fit and active during the loooong winter months. Just in time, Kaplen JCC on the Palisades, located in Tenafly, New Jersey, is hosting their annual Membership Open House so you can learn more about everything this vibrant, growing community has to offer.
Visit the J on Sunday, October 23rd from 10am – 2pm for a tour of the campus. This event is free and open to the community. You’ll get a chance to see their state-of-the-art fitness facilities, including the latest cardio and strength equipment, access to fully certified fitness trainers, and a full schedule of fitness classes for all ages and ability levels. Check out the luxury aquatics program which offers swim school, swim team, lap swims, and recreational opportunities in the 2 indoor pools, 3 (seasonal) outdoor pools, and one water park splash pad for the young and the young at heart. Then stick around to learn about the extensive list of programs and classes offered at the J. There’s something for everyone!
So, you’ll have fall, winter and spring activities covered but it’s never too late to start thinking about (and dreaming about) next summer. While you’re at the Open House, make sure you don’t miss the Kick Off to Camp Event, hosted by the staff of the Neil Klatskin Summer Camps. The camp team and specialists will be on hand to offer tours and answer any questions you and your kids might have about all the amazing programs they have to offer all summer long. Enjoy a donut truck, pumpkin painting, camp activities, music and more!
Neil Klatskin summer camps offer children choices and unique opportunities to participate in a diverse range of activities based on their interests. Summer camp is offered for JCC members as well as non-members with special volume and sibling discounts. Camp tuition includes: express busing from New Jersey and Manhattan, kosher catered lunch, daily snacks, towel service, and mini challahs every Friday to welcome Shabbat!
