Summer Camp. For most of us who attended a summer camp when we were kids, those words bring a rush of treasured memories: good friends made, new skills learned and mastered, unexpected goals achieved. It should also be a place where each kid feels recognized, honored and respected. YWCA has a long history of providing families with a high-quality summer camp experience at an intentionally affordable price.
Weekly camp activities at both YW camps include arts and crafts, nature, drama, field games, sports and movement, water play, and theme-related activities. Language arts and math opportunities will be incorporated into all activities to support students academically during the summer months.
Fully compliant with all state COVID-19 regulations, masks must be worn by campers, staff and those visiting camp to ensure everyone's safety. Detailed COVID related policies and procedures can be found on our website.
Cost for camp this summer will be $380/week in Mahwah and $300/week in Dumont. Camp hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm. Pre-camp care is available for $50/week from 7:30am until the start of camp each morning. Post-camp care is available from 5:00pm – 6:30pm also at a cost of $50/week.
Included in the cost of camp are free swimming lessons for all campers and free transportation available from Rockland or Bergen County. Camp applications are available online as of Monday, February 15th.
