If you've been to Sofia in Englewood, then you know it's a sophisticated Italian Steakhouse housed in a stunning space with an amazing menu of not just steaks and chops (though there's plenty of that) but also creative seafood dishes, pastas, and some seriously beautiful crudo. The eatery is doing a big NYE bash, with three seatings at 6pm, 8pm, and 10pm (basically one that'll work with your sitter's schedule no matter how difficult she's being this year). And there's no annoyingly forced prix fixe dinner. Sofia will be offering its regular dinner menu along with some decadent specials the chef's creating for the night with a focus on white truffles (!) and seafood. A live DJ will start spinning at 8pm and guests who book the 10pm seating can stay for the party that'll lead up to the big countdown. You'll also get fun party favors and complimentary champagne for toasting the new year … and the fact that you actually stayed up till midnight.
