Where to Spend Cinco De Mayo in North Jersey

Restaurants  /

It doesn't really need to be Cinco de Mayo for us to get out and enjoy some margaritas and tableside guac. But, when it falls on a weekend, we're definitely down with it.  Tequila, Mariachi and Tacos are on the agenda this Sunday, even if it means a Monday hangover. Here are six Mexican restaurants in or near North Jersey where you can say Ole this holiday.

Where: Blue Moon Mexican Café, (Woodcliff Lake, Wyckoff, Englewood)

Why: Cinco de Mayo is the biggest party of the year at Bergen fave Blue Moon Mexican Café. Look for a Mariachi band from 5:30p to 8:30p on Cinco de Mayo along with T-shirt giveaways and other prizes.

Where: Rosa Mexicano at The Shops at Riverside

Why: So to answer your first question, Yes, there will be prickly pear frozen margos. But Rosa will also be serving up specials all weekend long, plus favorites from their regular menu and new cocktails like their Mango, Pineapple, Jalapeno Margaritas and Frozen Papaya Margaritas, plus their famous tableside guac, we'll toast to that.
