Uh Oh. Looks like you have a kid who’s been hit by the theater bug. The symptoms are easy to recognize. They sing all the time and everywhere. They have a flair for the dramatic (especially when it comes to eating their veggies) and they beg to see (or perform in) every new show that comes to town. It’s time to channel their energy and talent. Just in time, Englewood’s own bergenPAC is offering a Musical Theater Summer Camp for kids ages 5 – 12.
In addition to offering hundreds of world class performances at affordable prices to over 150,000 audience members each year, bergenPAC is also home to a top notch performing arts education program. This program offers dance, theater and music lessons to kids of all ages. The Musical Theater Summer Camp offers kids instruction in the triple threat skills (dancing, singing and acting) featuring theater games, dance combinations, choreography, music appreciation, singing, acting the song, visual arts and much, much more. Then, at the end of the three week camp, all performers will present a final showcase on the bergenPAC main stage. With family and friends in the audience, your child will feel like a star!
bergenPAC will offer two sessions for the Musical Theater Summer Camp. Session One runs from July 6 – July 24, 2020. Session Two is August 3 – August 21, 2020. Camp days are Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuition for each 3-week session is $850 plus a $30 registration fee and includes lunch and snacks daily. Aftercare is available for an extra fee.
