They Should be Dancin’ (dedicated)

Some dude once said, “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players” (it was Shakespeare, he’s the dude) and if that’s true, then where better for your child to spend their summer than learning stagecraft at bergenPAC Performing Arts School’s Musical Theater Summer Camp in Englewood, New Jersey?

Whether your child is a natural performer, or they’re more of a hang back and let someone else have the spotlight kind of kid, there’s a place, and a role for them in this year’s Musical Theater performances. In fact, one of the best things about being in a theatrical performance is that every person’s role is critical to furthering the plot and telling the story. Each child has something important and unique to contribute to the whole, and at the bergenPAC Musical Theater camp, your child will have a chance to shine.

Camp attendees will learn about storytelling, voice, dance, and acting, all skills they can use in their classrooms and later in life since we all need to have confidence and poise when speaking in public or making presentations.

There will be two sessions for the bergenPAC Performing Arts School’s Musical Theater Summer Camp. The first will run from Monday, July 7th – Thursday, July 24th, culminating in a Mainstage performance at 5:00pm on the 24th . The second session will run from Monday, August 4th – Thursday, August 21st, again with a show at 5:00pm on the Mainstage.

bergenPAC’s Musical Theater Summer Camp is offered to children ages 6 – 12 and registration is open now. For more information, please call 201.482.8194 or email [email protected].

Reserve your child’s spot before May 30th and you’ll receive $100 off your tuition. So, go ahead, sign up for a summer of hearing your kid belt out show tunes in the back seat of the car and then, this summer, get thee to the theater!
