You are working really hard on raising a great kid. And you have very definite ideas about how the school they attend can help you. You want your kid to learn in a place that values them for their individuality and their unique contributions. You want them to be challenged and inspired to think critically. You want them to have an education that is rooted in tradition, but positions them for success later in life. Dwight-Englewood School, the areas longest established independent co-ed day school, is well positioned to provide your child with all this and more.
Dwight-Englewood School offers students the art of balanced learning. A rigorous academic tradition, rooted in classical liberal arts, is combined with cutting edge STEM and STEAM learning to prepare students with the skills they need to navigate their futures. Students thrive in an environment that includes small class sizes, stimulating coursework, inspiring instructors, and the opportunity to excel in extracurricular areas like the arts, athletics, and leadership and service. All on a beautiful, compact campus that is constantly evolving to meet the needs of modern students.
If Dwight-Englewood sounds like the kind of school where your great kid will flourish, and you’d like to learn more about admissions, please join them for one of their Admissions events this fall. Prospective Lower School (PreK – 5th grade) parents are invited to an Open Doors morning in which they will hear from the DE head of school, the lower school principal and visit a typical classroom. Middle School (6th– 8th) and Upper School (9th– 12th) families are invited to register for an Open House in which they will attend sample classes and hear from head of school, Dr. Rodney De Jarnett. Open Houses will also feature a panel of current students giving the real scoop on all aspects of DE life. Additional campus tours will be offered throughout the fall for families who are unable to attend an Open House event.
Please visit d-e.org/visit or call the Admissions office at 201.227.3102 for more information, dates and event registration.
