From challenging strangers in the grocery store to dance battles (cleanup in aisle 5!) to singing the latest Drake song every morning on the ride to school to insisting you add the word “Lil” to their name before addressing them (yeah, no), there’s no doubt our kids are growing up hip-hop. Keep it real by enrolling them in an Elements of Hip-Hop workshop at The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC in Englewood NJ.
A leader in arts education programs, bergenPAC provides students with unique, “hands-on” training by kid-friendly, industry professionals, allowing them to gain real-world experience and enhance their academic achievement. Over the course of 10 fun-filled 2-hour sessions, shorties ages 8 to 16 will get schooled in all things hip-hop, including DJ-ing, MC-ing, graffiti art, breakdancing, and beatboxing. Then, it’s “showtime!” with a final performance where students have a chance to show off their mad skills to friends and family.
