While you've been in the midst of planning for Halloween or thinking ahead to Thanksgiving, you may have overlooked the two-day event the kids love and you, dare we say, loathe? That's right, it's almost Teacher's Convention week. Not that we don't love spending the extra time with our kids, but with busy schedules, it's often hard to keep them occupied throughout the day without loads of screen time. The good news is that planning a day of fun doesn't mean you need to spend every minute doing so. Local businesses around Bergen County are opening their doors those days to offer plenty of activities for all ages, with one- or two-day options and half- or full-day available. Book now though, as spots tend to fill up quickly. Here are some school's out camps to consider.
