Summer Camp in Bergen County NJ: YWCA Summer Camps, Fun AND Affordable (dedicated)

Camps  /

The question isn’t if the kids will be going to camp this summer, but where? Choosing can be the hardest part. So consider this: YWCA Bergen County, with two camps for kids, ages 5–16, which both offer a great local vibe and amazing affordability, just may offer the best deal in town.

YWCA camps are made for kids who want to connect with old friends, make new ones and have a ton of fun this summer. Each week campers get to experience all the exciting activities that you’d expect from a traditional day camp experience, including American Red Cross swim lessons, waterfront activities, theme weeks, arts & crafts, drama, camp carnivals and camp Olympics. Specialty TGA Junior Golf & Tennis and Sports Domain Academy Soccer programs are offered at both locations along with their Counselor In Training Program (CIT) for kids ages 13–16.

Two locations (Camp Ma-Kee-Ya at Darlington County Park in Mahwah and
Camp Orinda at Honiss Elementary School in Dumont) means you can choose what works best for you, and your kids’ friends (get a group and schedule everyone together!). Camps run June 26 – August 25, 8:30am – 5pm and pre- and post-camp care is also available at select locations.

Schedule a week—or the whole summer!
