If you’re old enough to have watched the first film in an antiquated drive-in theater, stood in an hours-long line in a galaxy far far away, in a pre-dawn age before online ticket sales and YouTube movie trailers, or your first experience with the franchise was through a vehicle other than licensed merchandise aimed at preschoolers, you’re likely pretty excited to take the kids to see Star Wars: the Force Awakens next Friday, December 18.
With the wildly anticipated flick already shattering presale records, and tickets for the IMAX premier in NYC selling for $250/ticket online, we figured with a week left until the premier we should arm ourselves with the all the details at lightforce speed.
