How many times have you needed something for the kids but the idea of heading to the mall filled you with dread? Rosanna Young was in the same boat when her son needed a holiday outfit for a school concert. “It made me realize that there weren’t many options for kids clothes in Bergen County that you could conveniently run into and get essentials as well something unique,” says the Upper Saddle River mom of two. So with a background in apparel manufacturing and design, Young decided to do something about it, conceiving the new children’s boutique Small Wonders in Wyckoff.

The store specializes in unique, trendy children’s clothing, accessories and gifts with a special focus on independently designed products for both girls and boys. Located in the Wyckoff Shopping Center, Small Wonders caters to Bergen’s smallest citizens, from baby to tween. The new shop will also offer personalized services such as custom printed onesies & T-Shirts (perfect for birthdays or Disney trips), baby gifts and gift-wrapping.

The clothing is skillfully curated by Young, who uses her fashion background to select merchandise based on quality, innovation and appeal. Highlighted brands include Art & Aden, Appaman, Chaser, Miles Baby, Tea and more. From adorable handbags and tulle skirts to the coolest tropical print swim trunks and outer space pjs, these clothes are not something you’re going to see on every other kid on the block. And Young feels that people in the area will appreciate the personal service that you can only get from a local business. “I’m a firm believer in supporting local businesses, and I find that sentiment holds true for a lot of Bergen county residents,” she says.
