Closter is ready to turn it up after dark, with the introduction of Club Nights at Stern & Bow, every Friday night. So break out your best cute and comfy dancing shoes, book your sitter (or make it a GNO), and alert your crew.
The American eatery you've come to know and love, which specializes in fresh seafood and raw bar offerings, plus flavorful meat dishes, housemade pastas and woodfired pizzas, is kicking its party vide up a notch welcoming adults to its Friday night Club Night, held weekly. "We realized that people just want to dance, but live music [on Tuesdays-Thursdays, featuring rock to blues] doesn't lend itself to dancing as much," says owner Russell Stern. Starting at 9 pm until 12 or 1 am, the over 21 crowd can enjoy beats courtesy of their DJ, dancing and craft cocktails flowing. Delicious creations include the Ghost Moon Margarita, Mango Paloma and the S&B Mojito, among many others.
If 9 pm is a little late to get your night started – after all, you likely spent your day working, chauffeuring, supervising, cleaning...– enjoy dining at Stern & Bow before you hit the "club." Fill up on their delicious dishes such as their Lobster Roll, Blackened Smoked Pork Chop, or Artichoke & Spinach Pizza.
