Hey, remember a month ago when you were on the beach and fall schedules and school seemed so far away? Well, now you're right in the middle of it and on top of everything else, if you're the parent of a 6th, 7th or 8th grade girl, you also have to start thinking about where you'll send your daughter to high school. Although it's hard to believe that plans you make now will affect the college or life choices for your daughter, they really do. So, if you're starting to look for her best high school options, you'll want to consider Immaculate Heart Academy in Washington Township, NJ.
Immaculate Heart Academy is an all-female college prep high school in the Archdiocese of Newark. As of September 2021, IHA has successfully opened its doors to all students for in-person instruction. In keeping with its mission to cultivate the traditional Christian values of the Roman Catholic Church and uphold exceptional academic standards the IHA administration, members of the Reopening Committee, and the directors of studies made the necessary adjustments to the daily schedule to keep students in their classes while providing the IHA community the safest and healthiest environment possible.
Immaculate Heart Academy offers a unique educational experience for young women. Students who choose to make their home @theheart will be challenged by a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, encouraged in their extracurricular endeavors, and supported in their pursuits by an affirming and dynamic administration and faculty. As a school, IHA enjoys a reputation as an academic, artistic and athletic powerhouse. But it's the way new students (and their families) are embraced, enfolded into the community and included in a sisterhood that is currently over 10,000 alumni strong and growing that makes the IHA experience one-of-a-kind.
Families of current 6th, 7th or 8th grade girls who are interested in learning more about this unique place are invited to visit IHA campus for an Open House on either Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 11:00 am-2:00 pm or Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm. Registration for this event is required and masks are mandatory while visitors are on campus.
They say that home is where the HEART is. Since 1960, young women in Northern New Jersey and parts of New York have been making their home at Immaculate Heart Academy. IHA is looking forward to welcoming your daughter to the family. For more information, please contact Director of Admissions, Ms. Alexis Fatigati '07 at [email protected] or 201-445-6800, ext. 112.
