Pascack Valley Medical Center Wants You to Take Care of YOU! (dedicated)

Wellness  /

Your health matters. Throughout the year, you care for friends, kids, parents, co-workers, significant others, spouses, and pets. You sometimes forget that taking care of yourself is just as important as all your other responsibilities.

Which is why, in May, Pascack Valley Medical Center would like to interrupt your regular schedule of caring for others to remind you to do something for yourself. Once again this May, they encourage women to Paint the Town Pink. During this month-long, state-wide initiative Pascack Valley Medical Center will be hosting Zumba in the Park in order to raise awareness about the importance of annual mammograms and women’s overall health and wellness. This includes well visits, gynecological exams and a commitment to making one positive change in either exercise, diet or nutrition.

Sound like something you can get behind? Ready to Paint the Town Pink? Mark your calendar for Thursday, May 24th at 9:30 am. As part of their Be Well Community Lecture Series, Pascack Valley Medical Center will be hosting Zumba in the Park. Join them and dance like no one’s watching all in the fresh air of Veteran’s Memorial Park in Westwood. Wear pink to show your support but leave your wallet at home. This event is free and breakfast and refreshments will be provided.

Can’t make it on the 24th but would love to do something for yourself? Want to learn about other factors that affect your health like workload and stress? Click here for upcoming events.

Zumba in the Park is presented by the Be Well Community Lecture Series at Pascack Valley Medical Center and will be held at Veteran’s Memorial Park, 98-44 Madison Avenue, Westwood. Registration is required.
