NYC’s Rosé Mansion is Your New Summer Destination

Fashion  /

If your mantra for summer 2018 is the same as ours – and that would be Rosé all day, of course – well you’re gonna love what we’re about to tell you. There is a mansion opening next month in Manhattan. And not just any mansion. A rosé mansion.

Here’s how it’s going to work: You buy a ticket to Rosé Mansion (it’s actual name) for a specific date and time. Once you’re in you’ll wander from room to room while tasting different rosés from around the world. Each room has a different theme and, according to organizers, will transport you to a certain place and time. We were hoping one of them would be a tropical island when we were 23, but turns out it’s more focused on wine-producing areas, like Ancient Rome and the modern-day Finger Lakes. Bonus: You can justify the visit since it’s educational too and you’ll learn about the history, science, and economics of everyone’s favorite pink wine and even get to do a little custom-blending yourself.

Tix will include samples equating to about two glasses and you’ll end your visit at the Rosé wine bar, which the mansion is touting as the greatest on the planet. (We’ll be the judge of that.) And if you haven’t gotten your rosé fix after all that, you can hit the Grand Tasting Room and buy additional glasses, bottles, and snacks too ... because too much wine on an empty stomach is never good, or so we’ve been told.

The mansion will open its doors on July 12 and run until October 7. Tickets are on sale now for $45 a pop or $35 if you can make it before 4:30pm on a weekday. And if you can, you’re our new hero.
