Since we moved out of the city a few years ago, there are still a few things I run back for: lunches with pals, a favorite colorist and upon request from the kiddos, Max Brenner’s Chocolate Factory. So when I got wind that Max Brenner Chocolate Bar was coming to Paramus, I was keeping my fingers crossed that we could finally get our sugar fix closer to home. That’s right, the beloved and bald king of high-end confections will open the doors of his latest chocolate bar Friday, April 11th in the brand new fashion district in Garden State Plaza.
I was treated to a sneak peek of the new space from CEO Sam Borgese, who told me they can’t wait give local chocoholics one super-sweet experience. We can’t wait either. If you’ve ever been to a Max Brenner chocolate bar, then you know you’ll be in chocolate heaven from the moment you walk in. With menu full of decadent desserts like ice cream sundaes, milkshakes, hot chocolate, fresh-made crepes (like that strawberry-hazelnut one up top), chocolate fondue (grab your boo, it’s built for two!), and plus all sorts of gourmet chocolate gifts to take home, they’ve got something to satisfy every sweet tooth.
