Best thing about fall? You and your kiddos get back into a routine after a summer with a schedule that, well, let’s just say it was a little relaxed. Worst thing about fall? You get to start driving all over the place to take your kids to all their activities and extracurriculars. UNLESS, you register them for fall youth classes at Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly, New Jersey.
There’s something for everyone at the J. From babies to teenagers, the J offers classes in, among other things, STEAM, Sports, performing arts, visual arts, and music. They also cater to kids who require special services at the Guttenberg Center for Special Services.
Most importantly, these classes are all offered in one place. So each of your kids can pursue their hearts desire and passions; one taking swimming lessons, one working on a monologue or their latest piece of music, one taking a dance class, and one learning a robotics coding language while you, wait for it…sit still.
That’s right. You, or their caregiver, can take a very well-deserved, and probably very welcome time out, work out or chill out, grab a drink at the café, and know that each of your kids is happily engaged and entertained. And if you really want to level up, order dinner for the fam from the J Café and give yourself even more time to do something, or do nothing at all.
