Woodmont Day Camp is ready to welcome your family into theirs! This traditional, private day camp is built on a spacious 50 acres of beautiful streams and woodlands. But more importantly, Woodmont Day Camp is built on friendship, family, and its core values of kindness, confidence, and respect, which is owners Sam and Ilisha Borek incorporate in daily activities and special events woven throughout the summer.
Woodmont prides itself on the small number of campers, which allows a more personalized experience and close-knit, family feel. Whether it's a fun dance, special handshake or bond over a favorite sports team, the nurturing directors and staff on the leadership team establish a personal connection with each camper. To help campers build confidence, Woodmont focuses on each individual camper, allowing them to figure out who they are and what makes them tick. Simple acts of kindness and respect are recognized throughout the summer with a special bracelet given by counselors when seeing campers doing "something good."
During the summer, campers participate in a well-rounded number of activities that match a variety of interests and passions. Outdoor adventure is found on the ropes course, zipline, climbing tower and ninja warrior course. Athletes and active kids can get out their energy at the gaga court, playing basketball, learning to ride a bike, flipping at gymnastics, go-karting, at the playground or on the tennis courts. Creative campers will love the innovation, arts & crafts, cooking, and imagination playground activities.
Campers also have plenty of time spent cooling down in the six heated swimming pools. Each camper has two designated swim times: a small-group instructional swim taught by certified American Red Cross Lifeguards, and one free swim. They can also make a splash at the water park, during their group's activity time.
With an ever-changing schedule, no two days are the same. Special events occur throughout each week, such as Gold Rush, Woodlympics, Carnival Day and Game Show Day, so there's always a surprise that awaits your child.
Hot lunch and bussing is available for all campers, making it super easy and convenient for parents as well - a much-deserved break we can all use. More than a summer camp, Woodmont Day Camp is ready to be your child's summer home away from home, and they are looking forward to another amazing summer in 2023!
