As the school year begins, you may already be pondering what can make it better next year. Let us introduce you to Dwight-Englewood School in Englewood, New Jersey, which is a co-ed, independent school serving children in preschool (age 3) through 12th grade. With just over 1,000 students, and representing more than 80 communities in the NY/NJ metro area, Dwight-Englewood School maintains a mission to develop students into lifelong learners –students who are prepared to meet the challenges of a changing world.

The 45+ acre campus, just moments from the GW Bridge, is home to a tight-knit community of students, faculty, families and staff who are diverse in ethnicity and nationality as well as in their interests, thoughts, beliefs, abilities and personalities. Dwight-Englewood prides itself on their commitment to nurturing this community, fostering a sense of well-being and acceptance for learners through all stages of their education. The faculty is renowned for an unprecedented dedication to a student's growth, while bringing challenging ideas and innovative solutions to the classroom.

Admissions for the 2023-2024 school year are now open. Dwight-Englewood not only seeks students whose academic records show potential for success in their rigorous program, but also students who demonstrate motivation and ability in athletics, the arts, and humanities; students with a passion for learning, a commitment to helping others, or strong leadership skills who will contribute to the D-E community beyond the classroom.

Dwight-Englewood will be offering Virtual Admissions Events throughout the fall so prospective students and their families can learn more about the curriculum and community. Join them for virtual Open House events, hosted by admissions representatives and school administrators, to get an overview of the school, its philosophy, and its programs. Sign up for an intimate Open Door event and get a closer look at the Lower School, or a tour of the Middle School, complete with its modular classroom and front porch design. Register for a Local Meet & Greet with faculty and families from your own backyard. Events are structured to allow you to experience all that Dwight-Englewood School has to offer without ever leaving the comfort and safety of your own home. Then, once you've completed your application for admission, you will be contacted and invited to tour the school with one of their Student Ambassadors.
