If you’ve been to the legendary women’s boutique Gito in Englewood, you know how amazing (and beautiful) the store and its merchandise – from jeans to dresses to bags and shoes – are.
Owner and Bergen County native Gito, longtime fashion stylist and go-to for the fashionable women of Bergen County and beyond, scours showrooms near and far to find on-trend and up-and-coming styles and designers you can’t find at the mall. Generations of stylistas have been shopping the store and working with Gito to dress them for every occasion- from upscale dinners to work wardrobes and regularly for that one of a kind stand out piece for a wedding or Bar Mitzvah. Now, Gito is about to enter a new phase in a brand new location. After searching for a space large enough to house the shoe salon on the same floor as the clothing salon, he found the perfect spot within Englewood. “This location can do both and be on the main avenue,” he says. “Twenty years ago, when I designed the old Englewood location, the industrial look was new to the market. Now the new location is also ahead of its time with state-of-the art, LED lighting design, and open layout.”
Ready to checkout Gito’s new digs? The boutique will be hosting a party on May 31 (from 7pm to 9pm) to celebrate both its grand opening and 20 years in Englewood. Expect a DJ, drinks, bites, and, of course, shopping!
