It’s bad enough that you have to entertain your kids every week day during the summer. But then the weekend rolls around and you have to, guess what, still entertain them. If a trip to the mall is in the plans for the weekend, then Westfield Garden State Plaza has you covered. Mad Science and Crayola are back for another free series of summer events that will keep your kids amused and engaged. And you get a little retail therapy in the deal.
The Mad Science & Crayola Wild World Camp will be bunking down every Saturday from July 13th through August 31st from 11 am – 12 noon this summer. Children will go on a wild life expedition to explore the wonder and beauty of the animal kingdom. They will learn about lions, elephants, and sharks among other animals. But more importantly, they will learn empathy for these endangered creatures, curiosity about the world around them, and creativity as imagine an art project that relates to what they’ve learned. Kids will also learn how wildlife conservationists are working to protect species around the globe.
After the complimentary Mad Science-themed show, VIP ticket holders can stick around and make and take an animal-inspired art project using Crayola products. The $10 VIP Package includes one Make & Take art project, one complimentary AMC Theatres children’s ticket, one LEGO toy and exclusive offers from retailers. 100% of the proceeds will benefit The Paramus Children’s Health Foundation.
The Mad Science & Crayola Wild World Camp will be located in the Restaurant District of Westfield Garden State Plaza, Level 2 by Macy’s. Themes include:
