Having the whole family stuck at home together the last several months has certainly had its highs and lows, but one thing we’ve truly appreciated has been the chance to get an up-close look at what our kids love and how they learn every day. That’s why we were excited to discover Code Ninjas, a program that combines the very things that have gotten them through COVID – their beloved video games and computers – and a chance for them to dig deeper and learn about the technology that goes into creating gaming technology
The Norwood Code Ninjas location offers a fun, welcoming, and safe place where kids from kindergarten to eighth grade can have a blast while learning coding, robotics, math, logic, and teamwork. Kids have fun and parents see results at the same time!
Code Ninjas offer year-round camps in addition to flexible, parent-friendly drop-in hours along with programs for two different age groups: The Code Ninjas Junior program is focused on little coders (grades K-1), while the Code Ninjas Create program is designed for older kids (grades 2-8), where participants will immerse in Scratch, JavaScript and Python (don’t worry, we’re not sure what all of those are, either) while making cool coding friends along the way.
If you’d rather have your kids experience it all from home, Code Ninjas is also offering virtual programs, so you can watch your little coders in action ... and hopefully end up with your very own IT expert at home by the end of it.
Ready to check it out for yourself? Code Ninjas offers complimentary coding sessions for kids while the parents get a tour.
