We love that our little one is full of curiosity. And questions. And a seemingly unlimited supply of energy. If only we were built the same—shuttling them back and forth between the local jungle gym, swimming lessons, and that high-priced play space so they can get their wigglies out before bedtime is exhausting! So, we were overjoyed when we heard the I Explore Kid’s Gallery at Liberty Science Center was back in business.
This completely re-designed super-huge, super-fun “experience space” is brimming with interactive activities specially designed for young wiggle-worms ages 2 to 5 years, including:
Whoosh! Place a squishy ball or scarf in this amazing Air Maze, and watch it zip through a twisted pathway of transparent tubes. Can your kid catch it at the end of its journey?
Light it up! This giant illuminated wall lets young designers create glowing patterns and pictures using a variety of colored light pegs.
Rock out! Pint-sized composers can pick up a rubber mallet and make all sorts of intriguing sounds on the giant Rock Xylophone.
Launch the balls! I Explore’s exclusive Ball Machine lets kids use an air cannon to blow balls through a fun-filled two-story maze.
Make it go! Little ones with a need for speed will love putting together a toy car and trying it out on the Test Track.
Reach the top! Kids are free to clamber up different levels of the Climbing Challenge to get an bird’s eye view of the gallery floor.
It’s a sure-fire way to get the ants in your kid’s pants out!
