We're not sure who needs to hear this today, but many of your kids are going back to school in less than a month. So, yay, you made it through the summer! But boo, now you have to start planning for fall. Luckily, American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey, has got you covered with an Anti-Bummer, End of Summer Bash to kick off the school year.
This month-long celebration will take place across the entire 3-million square foot American Dream entertainment and retail center. It will include a series of style and beauty events, shopping incentives, a school supply drive, a celebration of teachers, and sales, sales, sales at both American Dream's fashion, beauty and food partners and their world-class attractions.
Head to Level 1 of Court C, directly below the Coca-Cola Eats food court, to find home base for the Anti-Bummer, End of Summer Bash. There, close to top back-to-school fashion destinations including American Eagle, Lululemon and Abercrombie Kids, you'll find a unique demo space for a whole month of special event programming. Every Thursday, get a pre-picture day mini-makeover and style tips from an American Dream beauty or fashion partner like LUSH or ULTA. Then, while you're updating your wardrobe, spend $100 at any American Dream shop, like Abercrombie Kids, Journeys or Toys"R"Us and get a chance at the "Shop to Spin" wheel. Bring your receipts and spin the giveaway wheel for prizes including tickets to the Dream Wheel, Nickelodeon Universe Points Passes, and much more.
Who's better than your teacher? No really, who? Want the whole world to know how great they are? Nominate them for American Dream's Treat Your Teacher awards. Submit a nomination online by writing a short "Why my teacher is the best" essay. The winning teacher will go back to school in style with a $150 PRIMARK gift card, a $100 ULTA gift card, a $100 Walgreens gift card, a $100 gift card to American Dream, and a $50 Dunkin' gift card.
But don't leave without doing something good for someone else. American Dream is teaming up with the non-profit Jersey Cares as an official drop-off location for their 2022 school supply drive. From Monday, August 1st through Thursday, August 18th, American Dream will be collecting backpacks, folders, markers, pencils and other essential items. Find donation bins and shopping lists at any Guest Services desk, as well as at the DreamWorks Water Park and Nickelodeon Universe ticket counters. What do you get in return for your generosity? American Dream will give you a free three-point Points Pass to Nickelodeon Universe.
