An Entire Kellogg’s Cafe Has Opened in NYC

Restaurants  /

Maybe it was in high school or maybe college, but sometime in those late-teen years you determined that cereal is its own food group that can nourish you for breakfast, lunch, and even dinner. Well, Kellogg’s is really digging deep and trying to connect with your inner teenager. They’ve opened a restaurant in NYC that will bring your greatest cereal dreams to life.

They offer bowls – you know like burrito bowls – with a mix of cereals and other ingredients. For example, Pistachio & Lemon has Special K, Frosted Flakes, pistachios, thyme, and lemon zest. FANCY! Waiter, could I please get a bit more lemon zest on my cereal bowl?

They offer doughnuts which can be any kind of cereal stuck together with some kind of a delicious, magical, frosting glaze. They have milkshakes that contain blended up bits of Pop Tarts. IKR! They have Eggo sandwiches. They have Pop Tarts that look like sweet little pizzas. And if that’s not enough, sometimes they even host a Pop Tart café where you can make your own. Of course they do.

You can have any one of these treats with a variety of different milks for those who are lactose intolerant or just like almond milk better.

So, this summer skip the ice cream. Who needs it? And go, share your deep and unwavering love of cereal with your children. Come little one, today I will teach you the difference between Crispix and Chex, Rice Crispies and Rice Puffs, Captain Crunch and Apple Jacks. These are some serious life skills that they’re not likely to forget.
