If you’ve lived in this county for any amount of time, there’s a good chance you’ve crossed paths with Gilly Garrett…at school pickup,a local event, a coffee shop, the supermarket, the health food store, a yoga studio, or in the stands at a game. After over 22 years of calling this community home, she isn’t just building a business here, she’s deeply invested in the people who’ve made it feel like home.
Like so many women, Gilly has worn many hats over the years: mom, wife, business owner, podcast host, coach, and community builder. But her path to coaching wasn’t linear; it was shaped by lived experience, real-world entrepreneurship (upsand downs included), and a long- standing belief that women shouldn’t have to exhaust themselves to create lives they love!
Her journey began in the wellness space, where she founded Gilly’s Organics, a non-toxic
skincare and self-care brand built on a simple but powerful philosophy: we’re meant to age healthfully and well, not battle ourselves along the way. As the brand grew, something
unexpected happened. Women didn’t just want her products…they wanted her.
They wanted her perspective.
Her honesty.
Her encouragement.
And, often, her permission to want more, without the guilt.
Gilly jokes that she “never really outgrew being the captain of the cheerleading squad,” and that energy still shows up in everything she does.
“I kept hearing the same thing over and over with the women I would coach…,” she shares.
“I want more. I know I’m capable of more. But I’m a little lost, a lot exhausted, overwhelmed, and I need some guidance, some clarity, a confidence boost, a plan…a mentor.”
That realization became the catalyst for the creation of her group collective, a space designed especially for women who want to grow businesses, get paid their worth, and build lives that actually feel so darn good to live!
The Common Hurdles Women Are Facing
Across the board, Gilly sees a few familiar patterns, many of which she personally navigated for years:
- Women undervaluing of their work
- Perfectionism that leads to overthinking or zero momentum
- Lack of clarity after years of putting everyone else first
- Fear of being “too late” or not qualified enough
- Trying to build something meaningful while running on empty
“These women aren’t lazy or unmotivated,” Gilly explains. “They’re super smart, capable, and deeply committed to their families, their communities, and their dreams. They just haven’t been given tools or the space that actually work for this season of life"
A Different Way to Approach Growth
What sets Gilly’s work apart is her rejection of hustle-for-the-sake-of-hustle. She’s been there, she says. Trust me! Her approach blends mindset, movement, practical business strategy, nervous system regulation, and self-care, not as luxuries, but as non-negotiable foundations.
“We don’t just set goals,” she says. “We look at why they matter, what’s been standing in the way, and how to build something sustainable.”
Inside her collective, women learn how to:
- Identify and rewrite limiting beliefs
- Build income in ways that align with their values
- Create momentum w/o burning out
- Trust themselves again
The group offers education, accountability, and honest conversations in a truly safe space, without comparison, pressure, or pretending.
Who She Works With
Gilly works with women ranging from their 30s to their 70s, often moms who feel a quiet (or not-so-quiet) pull for more. Some are re-entering the workforce after raising children. Others already have businesses or ideas they’ve been sitting on for years. They’re thoughtful, capable, and ready- but would love a loving push and a clear path forward. That’s her sweet spot!
A Message for the New Year
As we step into a new year, Gilly offers this reminder to the community she loves:
You are not behind. You are not too late. And you are allowed to have BIG dreams. This is the year I hope you choose yourself, without guilt. Please, drop that guilt!
How to Get Started
Readers can connect with Gilly through her platforms and explore working with her inside her group coaching collective, which includes weekly guidance, mindset work, practical business tools, and a deeply supportive community.
Because the collective is growing intentionally, she asks that interested women first reach out for a quick, informal consult to make sure it’s the right fit. You can email her
directly [email protected].
“I’m incredibly intentional about who joins,” she says. “If it feels aligned, I’m so excited to meet you and welcome you!”
