There are three things pretty much all kids can agree on: cleaning their bedroom is boring with a capital B, macaroni and cheese is a well-rounded meal, and dinosaurs are the coolest things ever. Well, at least we can get behind that last one. Dinosaurs ARE the coolest things ever, which is why we can’t wait to surprise them this summer with a visit to the new Field Station: Dinosaurs.
After closing the original location in Secaucus at the end of last summer, Field Station has just announced they will be re-opening May 28 in Overpeck County Park, in Leonia- making the trek to this prehistoric destination even easier. This family fun spot is a real-life Jurassic Park—without, ya know, that whole danger part. Visitors will delight in getting up close to dozens of animatronic, life-size dinos (including a mighty T-Rex, a bodacious Brontosaurus, and the little-known local favorite "Jerseysaurus"), exploring all kinds of awesome interactive exhibits, joining in a paleo-sing-a-long led by the world's only "Dinosaur Troubadour,” and many more dino-mite moments.
Science has never been this fun!
