Our summer shore plans just got a whole lot more impressive. This week, the swanky Wave Resort will open its doors in Long Branch, NJ, becoming not just a fab new hotel option but a fab new hotel option at the beach that’s closest to us in Bergen County. And you know what that means: Less time driving. More time luxuriating. The oceanfront boutique hotel’s 67 rooms are super stylish with custom furnishings, Nespresso machines, floor-to-ceiling glass, and outdoor terraces (plus those plush robes and slippers that really make us feel like we’re on vacation).
The property also boasts a pool deck with a swim-up bar and a bevy of food options including the Mediterranean-inspired 1000 Ocean, with a menu heavy on seasonal ingredients and seafood dishes. And of course, let’s not forget the on-site spa with its menu of beach-inspired treatments like a black sand body scrub, ocean air oxygen facial, and signature massage that kicks off with a crystalized seawater polish.
Wave Resort’s location couldn’t be more perfect: It’s part of happening Pier Village with a roster of fab shops and restaurants and is just across the street from the beach. But if you somehow get caught up in massages and margaritas and don’t actually set foot on the sand ... we won’t blame you.
