LEGOLAND New York in Goshen Opens For Previews

New Hotels  /

Everything is awesome now that the highly anticipated opening of LEGOLAND New York in Goshen is here, bringing blocks of fun near Bergen County. Starting Saturday May 29, LEGOLAND New York Resort will begin welcoming the public for a day (or more) of LEGO-themed rides, shopping and dining.

The rides are both dry and wet, with a number of options for preschoolers through tweens. Take a trip on the DUPLO Express train, enjoy the LEGO NINJAGO ride, or get wet in the Splash Battle equipped with water cannons. Plus, kids as young as 3 can take a drive around LEGO City, in their own LEGO car, and get their LEGOLAND license at the Driving School and Junior Driving School. In addition to rides, there is plenty of interactive fun as well. Kids can build a robot in the LEGO MINDSTORMS robotic play center, explore the scenery at MINILAND, or become a Master Builder in the LEGO Creative Workshop.

There’s plenty of shopping at the Bricktopia Bazaar and Master Wu’s Warehouse for all your ninja needs, or shop your LEGO heart out at The BIG Shop. Plus, with plenty of dining options including Brick-B-Q, Asian cuisine at the Ninja Kitchen, Brickolini’s Pizza and Pasta and much more, you’ll be able to re-energize for a full day of fun.

While LEGOLAND is a short drive away, you can make it an overnight and stay at the LEGOLAND Hotel, opening soon. Each of the 250 rooms has a LEGO theme including pirate, kingdom, LEGO Friends and NINJAGO, plus separate kid’s sleeping area -- most importantly.

LEGOLAND New York is open for previews beginning May 29th, while it completes the final stages of the experience. While we can’t say that this won’t lead to stepping on LEGOs in the middle of the night, we can say it will lead to a day of LEGOtastic fun.
