Okay we've got a secret. The newest “secret club” hitting the scene—in Tenafly, to be exact—that’s not only delicious but also decidedly adult (seriously, no one under 21 is allowed) when it comes to its membership: The 130 Club, opens tonight to the public.
This speakeasy-style “intimate supper spot” and social club is serving up an array of upscale steakhouse staples, including USDA Prime steaks, seafood specialties, deluxe burgers, gourmet sides, its famous 10-Hour Slow-Roasted Prime Rib (in three premium cuts), and more, alongside an impressive menu of artisanal, top-shelf cocktails and aged spirits.
The Club’s bedecked dining room also makes it a standout. No sofa cushions or car blankets here! Instead, think plush leather banquettes, private booths, rich hardwood walls, curated artwork, crystal chandeliers, antique finishes, and a jazz-heavy soundtrack that will have you feeling Great Gatsby-ish in no time.
While a true membership isn’t required to dine (though reservations definitely are!), becoming a VIP here does have its privileges, including a self-chosen table that’s guaranteed to always be prepared and ready for you and your guests, personal concierge services, access to members-only tastings, cocktail parties, and special events, exclusive discounts on private dining, complimentary gift cards, a bottle of bubbly (or wine) on your birthday, and more.
