Wanna know the best thing about having a yoga practice? Yup, it's a practice. Something that once you start it, you can keep working on it as much or as little as you want for the rest of your life. You can stop it (not that you'd want to) and start it back up whenever you want. The important thing is to find an inviting studio where you feel welcomed and encouraged. That studio is Release Yoga Studio in Hillsdale, New Jersey.
Yoga is all about union and connection. At Release Yoga Studio, not only do they make their yoga classes accessible and fun for practitioners of all ages and levels, but they also welcome you into their community with open arms.
The Release Yoga Studio community includes everyday yogis, new practitioners, and everyone in between. They are a community of people from different backgrounds who connect through their practice and love of yoga. With its cozy neighborhood vibe and approachable instructors, Release Yoga is a place where your individual journey is supported and honored in a safe and inviting environment. Teachers offer classes for all bodies at all levels that will challenge and satisfy you as they facilitate the work you are doing to strengthen your body and calm your mind.
Release Yoga Studio is owned by local Bergen County mama, Lisa Cleaver. Lisa has been practicing yoga since she was 18. She returned to a regular yoga practice after the birth of her second child and then traded her work in a 4th grade classroom to follow her passion in a yoga studio. When Lisa isn't in the studio, you can be sure one of the dedicated, talented instructors that make up the Release Yoga team will be.
If you've been looking for a place to start, continue or deepen your yoga practice, it's time to create that space for yourself. There are over 30 weekly classes offered both in person and over Zoom. In addition to traditional yoga classes, students can expect classes and workshops including: Chakra clearing, Soul Food Vinyasa, Reiki Healing, Backbending and more. Monthly kids' classes, taught by Lisa, certified yoga instructor and licensed K-5 educator, begin January 15th.
