You always knew you had a rising star at home. All that singing, dancing, twirling and performing is going to add up to something that really draws a crowd someday. But before she figures out how to make her own YouTube video, take it from the pros: great performers are made, not born.
Bridge Studio for the Performance Arts in Dumont is offering a summer experience at a price that is worthy of rushing the stage: two weeks of musical theater, acting and dancing, for only $400 when you register by May 15th (after May 15th, $550). The session runs from August 6 – 17, Monday through Friday from 9am to 1pm, culminating in a final performance on the evening of August 17. Young performers ages 5 – 15 are broken into appropriate age groups and receive instruction from top-notch professional teachers in acting, singing and dancing; an official BSPA Broadway Beginning t-shirt, a pizza party with cast members, plus an official cast headshot.
Elizabeth Synnott, a working entertainer with a background in opera, musical theatre, TV and cabaret runs Bridge Studio for the Performing Arts along with Ken Melamed, a talent agent in New York City for more than 20 years. Together with Broadway and Off-Broadway renowned actors Teddy Coluca and Elena Guitierrez and professional local director Louis Scarpati, it’s almost as if your kids will be hanging out with their very own Will Schuesters.
We think that’s something worth singing about.
