When the Academy Awards come calling next year, make sure your kids are red carpet ready.
Picture this: top-notch talent programs focused on acting, dance, musical theater, vocal performance, jazz, improv, and even special needs performance. New Jersey Performing Arts Center Summer Programs have it all.
Taught by real names in the business (Geri Allen, Guggenheim Fellow/ All-Female Jazz Residency; IMA award-winner Mark D. Conklin of the Singer/Songwriter Workshop, and Young Artist Summer Intensive instructor Christian Ely, who brings over 25 years experience as an acting teacher), NJPAC summer programs offer the very best artistic training our region has to offer. Coursework also includes Second City Teen Improv and Sketch Comedy classes, plus groundbreaking special needs programs for kids diagnosed with Aspergers’ and/or Autism.
Applications and auditions for apprentice, intermediate and advanced classes for summer programs for kids ages 10 – 22 are being accepted now. But hurry – the deadline for the Young Artist Summer Intensive is April 15th, and the other courses (All-Female Jazz Residency, Workshops with Second City, Singer/Songwriter Workshop; Hip-Hop Institute) are due May 1.
