New Salon Alt Beauty By Alexa Rae Opens in Ho-ho-kus (dedicated)

No matter how many years (or, decades, come to think of it) we’ve been doing our hair and putting our makeup on, we never look anywhere near as perfect as when an expert stylist – with her mad skills and massive kits – works her magic on us. And we’ve now got a new favorite pro in town: Alexa Rae, a longtime makeup artist who worked at Eric Alt Salon for three years before joining forces with the ever-expanding salon mogul to open the collaborative Alt Beauty by Alexa Rae in Ho-Ho-Kus.

Alexa Rae has the resume beauty dreams are made of – Best of Bergen 2018; Best Makeup Artist in 201 Magazine; and featured makeup artist for BC the Mag. She’s worked with celeb clients and is able to put all of that experience to work in her stylish new studio. Besides makeup, she focuses on styling, hair color, spray tans, and bridal services and can offer all of it both in the salon and on location services for special events.

You’ve probably gotten hair and makeup done as part of a bridal party before ... but not like this. When brides and their bridal parties book in-salon services, Alexa Rae and crew turn the salon into a private bridal boutique complete with decorations, food, and even a Champagne bar. The group just has to show up and the Alt Beauty team takes care of the rest to make sure everything is perfect for the big day. (And with a Champagne bar, how could it not be?)
