Live Shows are Back at bergenPAC [dedicated]

There's nothing like the thrill of watching a live, in-person performance with fellow enthralled theatergoers and it's never too soon to instill that love of live theater into your little ones. But sometimes the smallest patrons of the arts need shows that are tailored to their interests and attention spans. So it's great that bergenPAC, the iconic performing arts center and leading cultural and arts educational institution in Northern New Jersey, has a full slate of children's events schedule for the 2022 fall/winter season.

bergenPAC kicks off their season on October 14th with Masters of Illusion, based on the hit television show and featuring grand illusions, levitating women, escapes, sleight of hand and vanishes. You won't believe your eyes. Or maybe your eyes won't believe what they're seeing!

Then, on October 15th, spend an hour with Peppa Pig and all her friends on an outdoor adventure full of singing, dancing, games and surprises in Peppa Pig's Adventure. There will be two shows: 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

David Caserta, master illusionist brings his Haunted Illusions to bergenPAC on Sunday, October 30th, just in time for Halloween. Ticketholders can come early and in costume to enjoy a Halloween party before the show. Free refreshments and kids' activities are included. The party starts at 2:00 and the show is at 3:00.

In December, get in the holiday spirit with a performance of The Nutcracker, performed by the New Jersey Ballet. Shows will be on Saturday, December 3rd and Sunday, December 4th at 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm both days.

Who's blue, figures out clues and is really smart? That's right! Join Josh, Blue and the cast of Blue's Clues and You! on an epic new adventure to conjure up a magical theater show. Blue and all her friends will hit the stage on Saturday, December 10th at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

Keep the holiday celebrations going with Deck the Halls with Disney on December 15th, a Disney Concerts presentation featuring DCappella. Disney's premier a cappella singing sensation will take you on a magical journey that includes all your favorite holiday songs as well as Disney's greatest hits from Encanto, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and much more!

And then, on December 18th, discover the true spirit of Christmas along with Scrooge in the Virginia Rep on Tour's presentation of "A Christmas Carol". Shows will be performed at 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm and are appropriate for grades K-5.

Tickets for all shows are on sale now. Grab your seats and see you at the theater!
