Hot New Homegrown Workout Gear

Nothing inspires us to get to the gym like sleek, fashionable workout-wear.  And we’re not the only ones. Two workout obsessed local mamas with an eye for fashion took that matter to heart with the launch of their new line of functional and stylish fitnesswear, Pheel

After feeling frustrated by the lack of options in the workout-wear market, co-owners Lisa Lazarus and Lainie Goldstein set out to create a line that would be functional enough for Pilates and running yet trendy enough to wear to lunch with pals.  We road tested and loved the Chizel Pant (offered in your favorite animal prints) with the Vital Layer top.  Both pieces were not only comfortable and on trend (hello elbow patches!), but were made with functional touches like special Ipod storage pockets and long thumb holes to keep your sleeves in place and your hands warm on chilly eves.  We’re still pining for the Endless Scarf, an indigo infinity scarf made of cotton and light wool, which is the perfect piece to go with you from gym to lunch and straight to pickup.

And if you weren’t Pheelin’ it enough, they’ve also made a few pieces for the favorite dude in your life, so he can keep up when you hit the gym in tandem.

Snag select pieces at Reform at Jumping Frog Pilates in Tenafly and The Bar Method Ridgewood or Shop at Pheel’s Webstore
